There is a really inspiring thread on the Pixelation forum of fake gameboy mockups of modern games. After looking through it I just had to make one. Although it’s not based on anything. It’s just me messing around in GraphicsGale.

I really want to make a game. I’ve been kicking around some ideas for a puzzle game, but I also secretly fantasize about making an awesome action RPG.

Gotta start small though.

Just experimenting with sprite making. It’s still feels a bit wonky in places.

I think it would be really fun to make a little game sometime with Stencyl or Flixel. All I need is the motivation to actually do it, heh. 

It’s Girafarig. Just in time for the flood of Pokemon X&Y stuff. Oh well.

Also, I’m super grateful for the post volume 17 scans. It’s super awesome to not only find out happens, but practice my Japanese as well.
